Nicholas Joel "Nick" Perry (* 12. April 1990 in Detroit , Michigan ) is a former American American football player at the position of the linebackers . He last played for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL).

Career

Perry played college football for the USC Trojans . He was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 2012 NFL Draft as the 28th player in the first round. As a rookie , he was able to secure the starter job, but dropped out after six games due to a wrist injury. During his entire time with the Packers, he never played all 16 season games in any season. In 2016 and 2017 he was able to achieve 18 sacks in 26 games . On March 12, 2019, the Packers finally released Perry.
