Nico Beigang (born August 24, 1982 ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Beigang began his professional career at SV Darmstadt 98 in the Regionalliga Süd when he was used for the first time on May 3, 2001. He scored his first goal on July 27, 2002, and made his first game from the start when his club lost 3-1 to FC Augsburg on April 12, 2003.

He made his breakthrough after relegation and the following season 03/04 in the Oberliga Hessen, in which he scored 14 goals in 33 games and thus had a significant share in the direct rise, under coach Bruno Labbadia.

This was followed by two relatively successful years in the regional league with two 5th places under Labbadia in which he scored 18 goals in 62 appearances and each just failed to get promoted. In the following relegation season he was the most successful goalscorer of his team, he scored 12 goals in 31 games, but these were not enough to prevent relegation. In addition, there was a DFB Cup game in which they were defeated by a goal by Yildiray Bastürk in the 80th minute, the then strong Bundesliga club Hertha BSC, by just 0: 1.

After Darmstadt's relegation to the Hessen League, Beigang switched to the Stuttgarter Kickers , where he was unable to assert himself and therefore went to SSV Jahn Regensburg on January 20, 2008 . There they qualified for the newly created 3rd division .

At the beginning of February 2010, Beigang moved to Sportfreunde Lotte in the Regionalliga West. There he hopes for more playing time in the second half than last time in Regensburg. For the 2010/11 season, however, he changed clubs again and joined the southern regional division SpVgg Weiden . In December 2010, the SpVgg stopped gaming operations due to financial problems. Beigang then ended his professional career and joined the Bavarian state division club DJK Vilzing for the second half of the season.

For the 2011/12 season, the attacker moved to FC Tegernheim in the Oberpfalz regional league. With 28 goals in 27 games, he led the club to runner-up behind FC Amberg and promotion to the regional league center . In the summer of 2012, Beigang took over the position of player coach at Freier TuS Regensburg . After relegation from the regional league in 2013, he scored 39 goals in 27 games in the 2013/14 district league season, but with fourth place in the table, the promotion was missed. After three years in Regensburg, Beigang joined the Bayern division TSV Bogen as a player in 2015 . In January 2017, Beigang moved to SpVgg Plattling in the Niederbayern West district league to support the club in the fight to stay up.

In his career, Beigang completed 47 games in the 3rd division , in which he scored eight goals. In addition, he came to a total of 202 regional league games and scored 53 goals.
