Nico Burkhardt

Nico Burkhardt (born April 12, 1984 in Lutherstadt Wittenberg ) is a German chef .

Career

After training at the Dressler restaurant in Berlin, he moved to the Hotel Atol in Helgoland as a sous chef . Then he went to the Heinz Winkler residence in Aschau (two Michelin stars ) and to the Hotel Adlon in Berlin. He then moved to the Mar a Lago restaurant in Palm Beach , Florida, which is part of the Trump Organization . From August 2006 he was sous-chef in the gourmet restaurant Seven Seas at Karlheinz Hauser's in Hamburg.

From June 2011 to June 2018 he was head chef at the Olivo restaurant in Stuttgart, which has since been awarded a Michelin star .

Since September 2018 he has been the managing director of the Pfauen boutique hotel in Schorndorf , where he will be running his own restaurant Nico Burkhardt from mid-October 2018 .
