Niccola Pozzi (born December 14, 1981 ) is an Italian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Niccola Pozzi has competed in international junior races since 2001. In the same year he took part in the Junior World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk and was 55th in the individual, as well as at the Junior European Championships in Haute-Maurienne . There he finished 35th in the individual, ten in the sprint and 17 in the pursuit. Since 2003 Pozzi has been used very sporadically in the Biathlon European Cup . It was only since 2005 that it was able to establish itself there in the long term, but rarely achieved results worth mentioning. It was not until 2008 when he finished fifth in the top ten for the first time in Cesana San Sicario . The highlight was the 2008 European Biathlon Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . There Pozzi achieved a very good result with sixth place in the individual, was also 43rd in the sprint, 45th in the pursuit and tenth in the relay. At the 2008 Military World Ski Championships in Hochfilzen and Fieberbrunn, he started not only in biathlon but also in cross-country skiing. With the team he was able to win the bronze medal in the cross-country relay race. The sports soldier also competed in the biathlon World Cup for the first time at Holmenkollen in Oslo and finished 76th in the sprint. For the next season he immediately achieved several top ten placements at the start of the season and was once again able to prove himself in the World Cup. With rank 26 in the singles of Hochfilzen Pozzi won his first World Cup points.

Since 2018 he has been the coach of the Italian biathlon A team together with Klaus Höllrigl under Andreas Zingerle.
