Nicolai Munch-Hansen

Nicolai Munch-Hansen (* 1977 ; † February 20, 2017 ) was a Danish jazz and rock musician ( double bass , electric bass , composition).

Live and act

Much-Hansen worked in the Danish rock and jazz scene a. a. with John Tchicai , Kresten Osgood , Nikolaj Nørlund , Tim Christensen , Jens Unmack , Caroline Henderson , Steffen Brandt , the Brande International Music Workshop Orchestra with Marilyn Mazur ( A Story of Multiplicity , 1997), Rokia Traoré and with Hans Ulrik , also in the His wife Kira Skov's blues band. In 2010 he presented his debut album Chronicles ( Stunt Records ), on which Jakob Bro , Søren Kjærgaard , Ned Ferm and Mads Hyhne had collaborated. Most recently he recorded an album with the alternative rock singer Peter Laugesen . In the field of jazz he was involved in eleven recording sessions between 1996 and 2012.
