Hans Ulrik (born September 28, 1965 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish jazz saxophonist and band leader.

Ulrik studied from 1984 to 1986 at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He continued his studies until 1987 and when he returned to New York City in 1996 . Since 1987 he has been the band leader of various groups: Pinoccio (1987), Hans Ulrik Fusion (1988–1989), Ulrik / Hess Quartet (1989–1990), Hans Ulrik Group (1991–1995), Wombat (1995–1998), Hans Ulrik Jazz & Mambo (1998–2003) and Hans Ulrik Quartet (from 2003).

In addition to various Danish jazz prizes, Ulrik received the prize for best soloist at the European jazz competition in Leverkusen in 1988 and third prize at the jazz festival in Rome in 1990. In 2002 he toured China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Australia. In 2005 he performed with Steve Swallow at the Montreal Jazz Festival .
