Anders "AC" Christensen (* 1972 in Vejle ) is a Danish jazz musician ( double bass , electric bass , also composition ) of modern jazz .
Live and act
Anders Christensen, who has been active in the Danish jazz scene since the early 1990s, worked a. a. with Jakob Dinesen ( Once Around the Park , 1992), Ib Glindemann , Anders Mogensen , Hans Ulrik as well as in a trio with Jakob Bro and Jacob Høyer , in the international jazz scene soon also in Paul Motian's Electric Bebop Band, with George Garzone , the Tomasz Stańko Quintet ( Dark Eyes ECM 2009), also with Caroline Henderson , Tom Harrell , Joe Lovano and Lee Konitz .
In 2008/09 Christensen recorded his debut album Dear Someone in New York and Copenhagen in trio format with Aaron Parks and Paul Motian . In the field of jazz, he was involved in 23 recording sessions between 1992 and 2013, according to Tom Lord . Most recently he had the trio Spacelab with Nikolaj Hess and Mikkel Hess; In a duo with Ned Ferm he performed at the Danish festival Vinterjazz 2019.
