Jakob Dinesen
Jakob Dinesen (born March 6, 1968 in Rungsted ) is a Danish jazz saxophonist .
Jakob Dinesen began playing the tenor saxophone at the age of 16 and learned a.o. a. with Bob Rockwell and Fredrik Lundin . From 1990 to 1991 he studied at the Berklee School of Music , during which time he worked with Gary Burton and Paul Motian , after which he studied at the Rytmisk Music Conservatory in Copenhagen until 1999 . He performed with most of the Danish representatives of modern jazz and recorded several albums as a band leader. Everything Will Be All Right became the album of the year 2003 in Denmark. With Anders Christensen he leads the formation Once Around the Park .
