Nils Bosse Davidsen (* 1966 ) is a Danish jazz and fusion musician ( bass , cello , composition ).

Live and act

After studying at the Rytmisk Conservatory of Music, Davidsen belonged to When Granny Sleeps with Kasper Tranberg , Niclas Knudsen and Anders Mogensen from 1995 ; the quartet presented three albums, also with David Liebman and with Ray Anderson .

Davidsen has also worked with musicians like Eugene Chadbourne , Ikue Mori , John Tchicai , Django Bates , Tim Berne , Carsten Dahl , Marc Ducret , Bunky Green , Simon Toldam , Luther Thomas , Joachim Kühn , Richie Beirach , Adam Nussbaum , Tom Rainey , Peter Brötzmann , Chris Speed , Iain Ballamy , Sam Yahel , Gary Thomas , Butch Lacy and Maria Faust . Davidsen was part of Bobby Previte's Pan Atlantic Band and Jakob Dinesen's bands . The album Zone Blue was created in a duo with Kasper Tranberg . In the rhythm section with Anders Mogensen, he played with both Tomasz Dąbrowski ( Tom Trio ) and Artur Tuźnik . In 2014 he presented his first solo album, which was followed by Hverdagsforvandling in 2019 .
