Nicolas Cadi

Nicolas Cadi (born June 29, 1861 in Damascus , † September 22, 1941 ) was Archbishop of Bosra and Hauran in Syria of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church .

Life

Nicolas Cadi was ordained a priest on November 21, 1884 . On February 10, 1889, he was appointed to succeed Basilio Haggiar as Archbishop of Bosra and Hauran and received his episcopal ordination on the same day . On November 16, 1939, he was simultaneously appointed Titular Archbishop of Mocissus emeritus . Until his death in 1941 he was senior archbishop , he was co-consecrator of Archbishop Etienne Soukkarie . He was succeeded by Archbishop Pierre Chami SMSP .
