Nicolaus Tolckemit

Nicolaus Tolckemit (born May 16, 1679 in Prussian Mark , Polish-Prussia ; † September 9, 1714 in Zeyer, Polish-Prussia) was a German Protestant pastor in Polish-Prussia.

Life

The father Nicolaus Tolckemit (1645-1713) was a pastor in Preußisch Mark (since 1693 at the St. Marien Church in Elbing), the mother was Florentine Hoffmann. The boy attended high school in Elbing and studied Protestant theology and law in Königsberg from 1699 and in Leipzig from 1702 .

In 1706 Tolckemit received a pastor's post in Lenzen near Elbing, in 1709 in Fürstenau and in 1713 in Zeyer, where he died early the following year.

He was married to Elisabeth Döring, a son or other relative was Alexander Nicolaus Tolckemit (1715–1759), who was also pastor in Lenzen and Prussian Mark.

Nicolaus Tolckemit printed a university paper, a publication with Gottfried Wegner , and a participation in a theological disputation in Königsberg.
