Nicole Stevenson

Nicole Stevenson (born September 13, 1973 in Hamilton , Ontario ) is a Canadian long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

In 2001 she became Canadian champion in the 10 km road race. The following year she won the Toronto Waterfront Marathon . Second places each followed in 2003 at the Ottawa Marathon and the Vancouver Half Marathon and in 2004 at the Houston Marathon . Also in 2004, she was third overall in Ottawa, Canadian marathon champion and won the Niagara Falls Marathon.

In 2005 she won the Vancouver Sun Run with her 10 km best time of 32:30 min, was again third in Ottawa and came in 28th place at the World Half Marathon Championships in Edmonton . In 2006 she finished second in the Houston Marathon and eleventh in the Commonwealth Games Marathon in Melbourne .

In 2008 she finished seventh overall in the Ottawa Marathon, Canadian runner-up and tenth at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon.

Nicole Stevenson is 1.68 m tall and weighs 55 kg. She is trained by Hugh Cameron and starts for the Newmarket Huskies.
