Nicoleta Esinencu

Nicoleta Esinencu (born December 17, 1978 in Chișinău , MSSR ) is a Moldovan author.

Life

Nicoleta Esinencu studied theater studies and stage design at the State Art University in Chişinău, after which she worked as a dramaturge at the Eugène Ionesco Theater from 2002 . Your play FUCK YOU, Eu.ro.Pa! triggered heated political debates in the Republic of Moldova and Romania in 2005 because of the Europe-critical content . She received the Romanian dramAcum Prize for the piece.

With scholarships she was able to work in Stuttgart , Paris and Bourges . In 2007 the volume A (II) Rh + was published , in which her pieces and essays, bilingual with a German translation by Eva Ruth Wemme , were compiled.
