Nicotiana sect. Undulatae is a section of the genus tobacco ( Nicotiana ). There are five types of it .
description
The species in the Undulatae section grow as herbaceous plants or small trees with soft wood. The leaves are almost sessile or stalked. They are hairy, usually the hair is sticky.
The flowers open during the day. The crown is zygomorphic or almost radially symmetrical, salver-shaped and colored yellow to pink or white. The corolla tube can be straight or curved, the corolla lobes are pointed.
The number of chromosomes is n = 12.
distribution
The species are distributed in the Andes from Ecuador to Bolivia .
