The Niedergogartener Bach is a half a kilometer long, north-northeast and right tributary of the Wupper , which is called Wipper here in the upper reaches.

The Niedergogartener Bach rises at a height of 355.3  m above sea level. NHN in a mixed forest just under half a kilometer south of Rönsahl .

The stream flows first in a westerly, then in a west-southwest direction through forest terrain and then passes the border from the Märkischer Kreis to the Oberbergischer Kreis . He leaves the forest there and enters the open corridor. He now runs, accompanied by bushes and trees, through a notched valley and then moves along the north-western edge of a small wood. It crosses a dirt road and flows through the approximately seven hectare nature reserve Wupperaue near Gogarten .

It finally flows about two hundred meters east of Gogarten at 307.3  m from the north and right into the Wipper approaching from the east-southeast .

Catchment area

The catchment area of ​​the Niedergogartener Bach is drained into the North Sea via the Wupper and Rhine .

In the north it borders on the catchment area of ​​the Wipper tributary Rönsahl .
