Niels Kurvin

Niels Kurvin (* 1975 in Munich ) is a German director and actor .

Life

Kurvin completed his acting studies at the University of Music and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig in 2000 .

After a few years as a theater actor and directing work in Aachen, Berlin and Tübingen, he became known for his role as KTU specialist Hartmut Freund in the action series Alarm für Cobra 11 , which he embodied in over 200 episodes (first shoot: 2003, episode: "Baptism of Fire").

He played the drug dealer Kevin in the series Julia - Ways to Happiness , had guest appearances on SOKO Cologne , Inga Lindström and other German television formats and, as a native half-American, also appeared in English-language feature films.

With his group "aenekiBerlin", founded in 2003, he produces short films, performances and stages theater evenings.

From 2010 to 2014 Kurvin completed a directing course at the self-organized film school Filmarche in Berlin-Kreuzberg . He is involved in the study management there.

In the election to the Berlin House of Representatives in 2011 , he ran for the mountain party, the "ÜberPartei" .
