Nikifor Gerasimowitsch Popov

Nikifor Gerassimowitsch Popow ( Russian: Никифор Герасимович Попов , English transcription Nikifor Popov; born June 2, 1911 in Khabarovsk ; † June 19, 1983 in Moscow ) was a Soviet long-distance runner .

In 1950 he was at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels fifth over 10,000 m .

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952, he was eliminated over 5000 m in the preliminary run and was eleventh over 10,000 m .
