The Gmina Iwkowa is a rural community in the powiat Brzeski of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Your seat is the village of the same name with about 2700 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality is located in the hilly area of the Wiśnica foothills. The elevations include: Śpilówka (516 m), Piekarska Góra (515 m), Bukowiec (500 m), Mahulec (483 m); to the waters of the Bach Bela.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the Tarnów Voivodeship .
