Niklas Hörber (born May 14, 1991 in Lauf ) is a German soccer player and talent scout.

Career

Niklas Hörber played for his home club SK Lauf until the age of 15 and was then accepted into the youth team of 1. FC Nürnberg . Shortly thereafter, his first appointment to the U-16 national team of the DFB followed, where the fast and athletic striker scored three goals in seven games. Further regular international missions followed until the U-18, where he was mainly used on the right defensive side. In the club he also continued to successfully go through the youth teams and after he had made it to the junior league with the U-19 in 2009, he was even allowed to train with the first team. In his last A-year he played more often in the U-23 in the Regionalliga than in the U-19. Although he was often used with the seniors this year and next, he hardly played a game over 90 minutes and he was denied a breakthrough in the licensing team.

When his contract expired in 2011, he moved to Werder Bremen , where he was able to play with the U-23 in the 3rd division . He signed for a year. He made his first professional appearance as a substitute on the first day of the new season. On May 18, 2012, Hörber was officially adopted.

Due to a long injury and a break of almost a year, Hörber decided to study and has been a talent scout for TSV 1860 Munich since 2014. He also worked as a body double in various soccer commercials and gained his first experience in front of the camera.

successes

  • Promotion to the A-Junioren-Bundesliga Süd / Südwest 2009 with 1. FC Nürnberg
