Niklas Liederer (born September 22, 1991 ) is an Austrian cross-country skier .

Career

Liederer, who starts for the WSV Ramsau am Dachstein, ran his first race in the cross-country alpine cup in Oberwiesenthal in January 2010 and finished 81st in the sprint. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2010 in Hinterzarten , he achieved 58th place in the skiathlon . The following year he came in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2011 in Otepää on the 32nd place in the skiathlon and on the sixth place with the relay. At the Austrian championships in 2013 in Obertilliach , he was champion with the relay. In January 2015 he ran his only World Cup race so far in Otepää and finished 66th in the sprint. In the same month he achieved his first top ten placement in the Alpine Cup with ninth place over 15 km in Oberwiesenthal. After eighth place in the 2016/17 season at the Alpencup in Goms and in Zwiesel in the sprint, he competed at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 2017 . There he achieved 79th place in the sprint and 53rd place over 15 km classic.
