Nikola Prkačin (born November 15, 1975 in Dubrovnik , Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian basketball player who played at a height of 2.08 m on the position of power forward .

Prkačin began his career at Pomorac Dubrovnik where he played until 1993. After a stint at KK Split , Prkačin moved to Cibona Zagreb in 1998, where he won his first professional title in the following years. In 1999 the player moved abroad for the first time and to the traditional Turkish club Beşiktaş Istanbul , but only stayed there for a few weeks and returned to Cibona Zagreb at the beginning of the season. After further titles in his homeland, Prkačin moved as the newly crowned double winner in 2003 to the Turkish champion Efes Pilsen where he was under contract until 2007 and won four titles. After a six-month stay in Russia at Dynamo Moscow , Prkačin was signed by the reigning ULEB Euroleague winner Panathinaikos Athens in January 2008 after the Serb Dejan Tomašević was injured there and won the national double.

As a member of the Croatian national team, Prkačin took part in five European championships between 1997 and 2007. He also took part in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing with Croatia .
