Miklós Oláh
Miklós Oláh (also Nicolaus Oláh , Nikola Olah , Nicolaus Olahus or Nikolaus Olahus , born January 10, 1493 in Sibiu , † January 15, 1568 in Nagyszombat ) was a Hungarian archbishop , writer , politician and theologian .
Life
1543 he was selected by Ferdinand I to the royal chancellor and bishop of Zagreb (Zagreb) appointed. In 1548 he became Archbishop of Erlau , in 1554 Archbishop of Gran , who in 1563 crowned Maximilian King of Hungary . Oláh was the first counter-reformer in Hungary.
