Nikolaus (Niki) Pfeiffer (* 1954 in Kitzbühel , Tyrol ) is an Austrian visual artist .

He lives and works in Salzburg as a sculptor and graphic artist .

Works

  • His best-known work is a bronze bust of Egon Schiele in the Leopold Museum Vienna, mentioned in Kürschner's handbooks .
  • The bronze sculpture of the Nazarenes is in the Cathedral Museum Vienna .
  • Further works are in the Museum Landsberg am Lech
  • He designed the municipal coat of arms of Stumm in the Zillertal.
  • The 16-ton memorial for the unnamed victims and persecuted persons of the 20th century has stood at Maxglan Cemetery since June 2008 , which he made from Untersberg marble on behalf of the Maxglan parish .
  • In Golling an der Salzach there is the 5-ton sculptural stele and the Golling heraldic raven .
  • On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the town elevation of Seekirchen am Wallersee , his sculpture Upright Citizen was put up in the Seeburg .
  • In October 2012, a roundabout was completed in Golling, on which there is a 120-tonne concrete gate. The gate symbolizes the way from Innergebierg to Aussergebierg, in between there is a monumental reproduction of a Roman milestone made of Untersberg marble.
