Nikos Späth

Nikos Späth (* 1977 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German journalist and communications manager. He mainly deals with maritime, logistic and information technology topics.

Life

Nikos Späth studied history (MA) from 1997 to 2003 with the minor subjects political science and journalism at the University of Hamburg and the University of Melbourne . He was also trained at the Axel Springer School of Journalism in Berlin and went through a trainee program at Welt am Sonntag (2001–2005) while still studying .

Then he worked as a business editor a. a. worked for Capital (2009–2011), FTD (2009–2011), brand eins (2008) and Hamburger Abendblatt (2005–2008).

In 2011 he went to the magazine Hansa in Hamburg, where he became deputy editor-in-chief. From 2012 to 2014 he was the editor-in-chief of the specialist magazine. He has been working in press and public relations at the classification society DNV GL since 2014 .
