Nils-Rune Tommy "Nicke" Johansson (born July 24, 1938 in Örnsköldsvik ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player .
Career
Nils Johansson began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown at Alfredhems IK - renamed MoDo AIK in 1963 - for whose professional team he was active from 1958 to 1970 in Division 1 , the then highest Swedish league, as well as the second-rate Division 2 . In 1964 he won the gold puck as player of the year in Sweden. From 1970 to 1975 the defender ran for Färjestad BK , where he then ended his career at the age of 37.
International
For Sweden Johansson took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1964 and in Grenoble in 1968 . At the 1964 Winter Games, he and his team won the silver medal. He was also in his country's squad at the 1962 , 1963 , 1965 , 1967 , 1969 and 1970 World Cups . At the 1963 World Cup, he and his team won the gold medal. As the best European team, Sweden also became European champions. In addition, he won the bronze medal with his country at the 1965 World Cup and the silver medal at the 1963, 1967, 1969 and 1970 World Championships.
