Nils Werner

Nils Werner (born January 30, 1927 in Erfurt ; † August 28, 1989 ) was a German poet and children's book author .

Life

Werner initially trained as a toolmaker and studied music at the Conservatory in Erfurt from 1947 to 1950 . From 1950 he worked for the satirical magazine Frischer Wind , later for its successor Eulenspiegel . There he met Hannes Hegen , with whom he worked on several projects. Since 1953 he worked as a freelance writer . Nils Werner lived in Wilhelmshorst .
