successes

Nils Westermark, who was a member of the Kungliga Svenska Segelsällskapet , won the silver medal as a crew member in the 8-meter class at the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 . At the regatta taking place in Nynäshamn , the Finnish boat Lucky Girl and the Swedish Sans Atout , whose skipper Bengt Heyman acted as skipper , came second in a total of two races, so that there was a tie-off between these two boats. In this the Sans Atout prevailed, whose crew also included Alvar Thiel , Emil Henriques and his brother Herbert Westermark .

Westermark was a radiologist and initially worked as an assistant doctor at the Radiumhemmet in Solna , before finally becoming head of radiology at Sankt Görans sjukhus in Stockholm. He then became a professor of radiology at the Karolinska Institute .
