Nina Nikolajewna Smolejewa ( Russian: Ни́на Никола́евна Смоле́ева ; * March 28, 1948 in Volkhov , Leningrad Oblast as Nina Nikolajewna Nikitina ) is a former Soviet volleyball player .

Smolejewa won gold twice with the Soviet national team at the Olympic Games ( 1968 in Mexico and 1972 in Munich ) and silver in 1976 in Montreal . The outside attacker also became world champion in 1970 and European champion four times ( 1967 , 1971 , 1975 and 1977 ). In addition, he won the 1973 World Cup .

With Dynamo Moscow Smolejewa won six times the Soviet championship and the European Cup of national champions between 1970 and 1977 .

2006 Smolejewa was inducted into the " Volleyball Hall of Fame ".
