Nina Zander (born January 26, 1990 in Nuremberg ) is a former German tennis player .
Career
Nina Zander started tennis at the age of eight, her preferred surface was carpeting. She mainly played tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she could win one singles and two doubles titles.
On the WTA Tour in 2013 she was eliminated from the Nürnberger Versicherungscup in the first round of qualification against Kristina Barrois . In the doubles competition she started with Laura Siegemund in the main field, at whose side she was also eliminated in round one. In 2014 she was in the main field of a WTA tournament for the first time at the Nuremberg Insurance Cup after successfully qualifying .
In 2010 , Zander played in the German tennis Bundesliga for the THC at VfL Bochum , which she was loyal to in the second division in 2011 . In 2012 and 2013 she served in the 2nd Bundesliga for the TC Blau-Weiss Halle .
Since September 2015 Nina Zander has not competed on the ladies tour.
