Henrik Hyldelund (born April 30, 1985 in Haderslev ) is a former Danish triathlete . He is world champion in the long distance in the M25–29 age group (2012) and Ironman winner (2014).

Career

Henrik Hyldelund has been running triathlons since 2011.

In Spain he was triathlon world champion on the long distance in July 2012 in the age group M25-29. In 2012, Hyldelund was third and in 2013 he was runner-up in the long distance national champion.

Winner Ironman Copenhagen 2014

In August 2014 he won the Ironman Copenhagen , after having finished second here the previous year. At the Triathlon World Championships on the long distance, he finished 17th in 2015.

Henrik Hyldelund started together with Camilla Pedersen and Martin Jensen in the Danish fusion team . He was trained by the professional triathlete Martin Jensen. He has not appeared internationally since 2016.

Henrik Hyldelund has been married since September 2017 and lives in Aarhus with his wife and two children .
