Nis Bank-Mikkelsen (born April 10, 1945 in Frederiksberg ) is a Danish actor and voice actor for cartoons .

Life

Nis Bank-Mikkelsen was born as the son of the founder of the first consistent integration approach for people with disabilities, the normalization principle , Niels-Erik Bank-Mikkelsen (died 1990) and his wife Birthe Hansen in Frederiksberg, where he grew up. He studied theater history at the University of Copenhagen from 1965 to 1966 and then went to Århus Teater as a student . In 1969 he finished his studies and stayed at the Århus Theater as a theater actor until 1978. During his studies he also went on study trips to Berlin , London , Oslo and Stockholm . Bank-Mikkelsen then had engagements at various theaters such as the Café Teatret , Folketeatret and Gladsaxe Teater , and from 1980 he had several roles at the Det Kongelige Teater .

As a film actor, he has worked in many Danish television and film productions . He had his best-known appearances in the television series Matador , TAXA , Karrusel , Forsvar , Krøniken and in the Christmas series Alletiders jul and Alletiders Julemand . Bank-Mikkelsen has also worked as a voice actor in numerous animated films, including Tobe in Pucca . He had also achieved success with some of his records and CD releases. He is also a popular presenter on Danmarks Radio , where he has been involved in the popular Danish satirical television show Rytteriet in recent years .
