Niumendong

The Niumendong site ( Chinese  牛 门洞 遗址 , Pinyin Niúméndòng yízhǐ , English Niumendong site ) is a Neolithic to Bronze Age archaeological site scattered over a wide area in the Huining district of the district-free city of Baiyin in the Chinese province of Gansu . He is the past the village Niumendong greater community Touzhaizi named.

1920 was first ceramic-patterned ( caitao discovered), 1,975 dead old mines (were muxue ) excavated.

The discovered cultural objects from a period of over two thousand years come from the late Yangshao culture , the Banshan Machang type, the Majiayao culture , the Qijia culture and the Xindian culture type.

The Neolithic site of Niumendong ( Niumengdong Xinshiqi yizhi ) has been on the Gansu Province monument list since 1982.

The Niumendong site ( Niumendong yizhi ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-203) since 2006 .
