The train started at the UN Climate Change Conference 2018 in Katowice station on December 14, 2018. Afterwards there were stops in Vienna (January 14, 2019), Berlin (January 24, 2019), Paris (February 5, 2019) and Brussels ( February 20, 2019). There was a reception in Vienna with Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen and Transport Minister Norbert Hofer . At every stop of the train, motifs are attached to two additional raw green containers. Further stops are planned in Rome , Munich , Mannheim and Oberhausen . The work of art will again be in Vienna on May 28 for the Austrian World Summit.

statement

The name is a direct reference to the biblical Noah's Ark , which according to the Book of Genesis is said to have been built as a lifeboat against the flood caused by serious sins . The train is supposed to be a symbol for more climate protection and promotes the shift of more traffic to the railways.
