Nomadness is a music album from the Strawbs .

Nomadness was released in 1975 by A&M Records and is assigned to the genres of progressive rock and folk rock . It is the eighth studio album by the Strawbs and the last to be released on A&M Records. Nomadness was recorded in June / July 1975 and appeared in the same year, but other sources also give 1976 as the year of publication.

Music genre

For the first time since Dragonfly (1970) - and until Andy Richards joined in 1978 - an album was recorded without a permanent keyboard player. The length of the songs is less than five minutes, in contrast to the earlier albums, which gives Nomadness a lighter, less epic character. As a composer, the focus is again on cousins. Once again, numerous guest musicians were involved in the recordings. The review commented: "This chameleon from one album sounds more like 10 different bands on one collection than a joint effort by the Strawbs ..."
