Tom Allom

Tom Allom (born before 1970) is an English musician, sound engineer and record producer who was particularly active in the rock music scene in the 1970s and 1980s . In the style of the Elvis Presley manager "Colonel" Tom Parker , Allom is sometimes given the title Colonel .

With the production of British Steel , Point of Entry , Screaming for Vengeance and Defenders of the Faith by Judas Priest and On Through the Night by Def Leppard , he was involved in the design of albums that were instrumental in the development of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal have influenced.

He also participated as a producer and musician on several albums by the folk rock / progressive rock group Strawbs .
