Nomer Tamid Synagogue (Białystok)
The Nomer-Tamid Synagogue in Białystok , a Polish city in the Podlaskie Voivodeship , was built in the 1710s and destroyed during World War II. The synagogue near Suraska Street was the first synagogue to be built in Bialystok.
Before 1941, the proportion of the Jewish population in Białystok was very high. The majority of the Jewish population was murdered by the German occupiers during the Holocaust .
