Nora Pester

Nora Pester (* 1977 in Leipzig ) is a German journalist and owner and publisher of Hentrich & Hentrich Verlag Berlin Leipzig.

Life

Nora Pester studied Hispanic Studies , Political Science and Economics in Leipzig and Vienna . From April 2002 to May 2005 she completed her doctorate in political science at the University of Leipzig with a thesis on the subject of The Social Constitution of Europe. A legal and discourse theoretical consideration .

She was responsible for press and sales at Passagen Verlag in Vienna, head of press and marketing at the ZOOM Children's Museum in the Museumsquartier Vienna and in 2009 she was responsible for sales and marketing at Matthes & Seitz in Berlin . Since January 2010, as the successor to the late Gerhard Hentrich (1924–2009), she has been the owner and publisher of Hentrich & Hentrich Verlag Berlin Leipzig, whose program she has expanded and further developed with a focus on Jewish culture and contemporary history.
