Norbert Kruse (Germanist, 1942)

Norbert Kruse (* 1942 in Neisse , Upper Silesia) is a German specialist in German.

Life

Kruse grew up in Krefeld and studied German, Catholic theology, philosophy and education at the University of Bonn . He received his doctorate in 1972 in Münster with an old Germanistic thesis and taught for a short time at the PH Schwäbisch Gmünd . From 1974 until his retirement in 2006 he was professor for German language and language didactics at the Weingarten University of Education .

Kruse researched the history of the veneration of the Holy Blood in Weingarten , together with Hans Ulrich Rudolf was responsible for widely recognized exhibitions on the subject in Weingarten in 1994 and 2004 and published numerous writings on the history of Weingarten and the Weingarten Imperial Abbey , on the veneration of the Holy Blood as well as on monuments and Field and place names of the region.
