Norbert Oellers
Peter Norbert Oellers (born October 8, 1936 in Ratingen ) is a German German philologist and was a professor for modern German literary history at the University of Bonn until 2002 . His father was the writer Werner Oellers .
From 1990 to 2014 Norbert Oellers was editor of the Zeitschrift für deutsche Philologie , since 1979 he has been co-editor, since 1992 sole editor of the Schiller national edition. In addition, he is co-editor of the Critical Complete Edition by Else Lasker-Schüler and a member of the Else-Lasker-Schüler-Gesellschaft .
Awards
- 1995: Schiller Prize of the city of Marbach am Neckar for his explanatory volumes for the 2nd volume of the poems by Friedrich Schiller
- 2008: Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class
