Norbert Thoss

Norbert Thoss (born January 19, 1935 in Braunschweig ) is a German architect and sculptor .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1957 in Nienburg / Weser , Thoss completed a degree in architecture at the University of Hanover , which he graduated with a diploma in 1965.

Since 1965 he has been working as a freelance architect with his own office in Hoya / Weser and since 1972 as a sculptor with a studio in Eitze / Verden (Aller) .

Thoss is a representative of subtractionism. He works with the materials stone, wood, clay and bronze .

He presented his work to the public in various exhibitions. You are also in public space, u. a. in Hoya, Rethem (Aller) , Syke and Weyhe .
