Norbert Weisser

Norbert Weisser (born July 9, 1946 in Neu-Isenburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Weisser came to Los Angeles in 1966 . As an actor, he has appeared in more than 70 cinema and television films. He has worked with many well-known directors such as Steven Spielberg ( Schindler's List ), Alan Parker ( 12:00 PM - Midnight Express and The Road To Wellville ), Richard Attenborough ( Chaplin ), John Carpenter ( Das Ding ) and Ron Howard ( Illuminati ), But took on secondary and especially minor roles.

Weisser has made guest appearances in numerous theaters across America, including Broadway, where he played "Rode" in Ronald Harwood's "Taking Sides" alongside Ed Harris and Daniel Massey at the Brooks Atkinson Theater . In 2002/2003 he received an LA Critics Circle nomination, an LA Weekly and an Ovation Award for Best Actor for his performance in "Times Like These" at the Odyssey Theater in Los Angeles.

He is a founding member of the Odyssey Theater and the Padua Hills Playwrights Festival and directed Murray Mednicks "The Coyote Cycle" in San Francisco at the Magic Theater and "Heads" in Los Angeles at the Marc Taper Forum "New Works Festival."

Weisser produced two Albert Pyun films ( Invasion and Cool Air ). He can also be seen in many of his films. He wrote several feature film scripts with Don Keith Opper , Murray Mednick and Thomas Morris . In the video game Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus he lends his voice to Adolf Hitler .

Weisser is married and lives in Venice . His son Morgan Weisser is also an actor.
