Norberto Daniel Outes Gómez (born October 10, 1953 in Buenos Aires ), also known by the nickname El Beto , is a former Argentine football player on the position of the striker .

biography

Norberto Outes began his professional career in 1975 with his hometown club Independiente , with whom he won the Copa Interamericana in 1976 and the Argentine championship in the following two years (1977 and 1978) .

In 1980/81 he played for local rivals Boca Juniors before moving to Mexico for four years , where he worked two seasons each for Club America (1981 to 1983) and Club Necaxa . In the 1982/83 and 1983/84 seasons he was twice in a row top scorer in the Mexican Primera División .

He then went back to his homeland, where he ended his active career between 1985 and 1986 with Vélez Sársfield .

His only international appearance dates from June 2, 1979, when the Argentine national team completed a friendly in Glasgow, which was won 3-1 against Scotland. In that game, Outes came on for René Houseman .
