Norman Hall

Norman Hall (born November 17, 1829 in Lycoming County , Pennsylvania , †  September 29, 1917 in Sharon , Pennsylvania) was an American politician . Between 1887 and 1889 he represented the state of Pennsylvania in the US House of Representatives .

Career

Norman Hall attended Dickinson College in Carlisle until 1847 . Then he worked in the iron industry. Politically, he joined the Democratic Party . In the congressional election of 1886 he was elected to the United States House of Representatives in Washington, DC in the 26th  constituency of Pennsylvania , where he succeeded Republican George Washington Fleeger on March 4, 1887 .

Up to March 3, 1889, Hall was able to complete a term in Congress . After serving in the US House of Representatives, he worked in the banking industry for some time. Then he retired. He died in Sharon on September 29, 1917.
