North Cleveland is a city in Liberty County in the US state of Texas in the United States .
geography
The city is located on Farm Road 2025 in southeast Texas, is about 135 km to the east from Louisiana , 110 km to the southeast from the Gulf of Mexico and has a total area of 5.1 km², of which 0.1 km² is water.
Demographic data
According to the 2000 census, 263 people lived here in 98 households and 68 families. The population density was 52.9 inhabitants per km ². The racial the population was composed of 77.95% White, 5.70% African American, 0.38% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, and 9.89% other ethnic groups. About 6.08% were mixed race and 26.62% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
Of the 98 households, 26.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them. 55.1% of these were married couples living together. 9.2% were single mothers and 29.6% were non-families. 24.5% of all households were single households and there were people living in 12.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.23.
