Northcliffe Peak is a striking 2255 m high mountain in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . It rises in the Worcester Range four miles southeast of Mount Harmsworth .
The New Zealand group of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) explored and named the mountain in 1957. It is named after the British publisher Alfred Harmsworth, 1st Viscount Northcliffe (1865-1922), one of the greatest donors of the British Discovery Expedition (1901–1904), after whom Mount Harmsworth is named.
