Music video

The official music video was uploaded to the official YouTube channel of the music label Kontor Records on September 14, 2012, parallel to the single release . The video begins with the DJ duo Michael Mind Project . It drives through the streets of New York . A young woman can be seen lying in bed. The scenes are shown alternately and the two men turn towards Manhattan , past basketball players and graffiti- splattered walls. The woman gets out of bed and goes jogging. During her run, she stops at a bench and begins stretching and doing push-ups. Then the woman climbs the stairs to her hotel room again to take a shower. After she finishes her cell phone rings and she looks at the clock while talking to the two men on the phone. The young woman takes a pistol and a mask from a drawer and puts them in a bag, while Michael Mind's two men wait in a car while eating and drinking something. The woman puts on black clothes and goes to a bank. Behind a wall she takes her pistol out of the bag again and pulls the black stocking mask over her head. Then she storms into the bank. A short time later she reappears behind the wall with the bag that now contains the money, the gun and the mask. She stops a taxi and drives to the two men. There she gets into their car and they take a look into the bag with the bundles of money. Satisfied, the three of them smile and start the engine and escape from the crime scene. After a week, the video was viewed over 300,000 times.

reception

The song received mostly positive reviews, but has been compared to the song Dancing in London by Swiss musician Patrick Miller . But it didn't bother the critics of Urban Music :

We knew in advance that the Michael Mind Project was working on a new song. Now he's outside. It sounds a bit like Patrick Miller, but it doesn't matter. The video was shot in New York and now have fun with 'Nothing Lasts Forever'.
