Hi Scandinavia! is an instrumental piece of Russian DJ - duo Matisse & Sadko . It was released on January 3, 2011 as the duo's second single on the music label Armada Zouk . On September 12, 2011, an official vocal version of the song was released, which was created in collaboration with British singer Ollie James. This was entitled We're Not Alone (Hi Scandinavia!) .

The song was composed and produced by Aleksandr Parhomenko and Yuriy Parhomenko themselves. The single was released on the Dutch label Zouk Recordings , a sub-label of Armada Music . In the Benelux -Staaten acted Armada Benelux Publishing as publisher, while in other European countries Kontor Records took over that role. On the cover of the single the duo can be seen jumping out of the gray background. Both musicians hold hands in front of their faces.

We're Not Alone (Hi Scandinavia!)

On September 12, 2011, the duo released a new vocal version of the song entitled We're Not Alone (Hi Scandinavia!) . The vocals were provided by the British singer Ollie James, who wrote the lyrics himself. The new recording of the song was released as a double single via Armada , the second A side of which is Reign (Another Dimension) by Finnish DJ duo Marcus Maison & Will Dragen together with Australian singer Amba Shepherd.

We're Not Alone's official music video (Hi Scandinavia!) Was released on December 23, 2011. All three musicians can be seen in this.

On February 1, 2014, Dutch DJ and producer Hardwell played a remix of the song on his radio show Hardwell On Air . This was produced by the Dutch musician Kill the Buzz and was released as a single on March 28, 2014. The big room remix brought the track to the Beatport charts for the first time .

Patrick Miller

On June 15, 2012, the Swiss singer and rapper Patrick Miller released a cover version of the song, which was entitled Dancing in London . The tune of Hi Scandinavia! taken over and remixed in commercial house style. Together with the German songwriter and producer Stard Ova , Miller wrote a new text. The final version was produced by David May and Michel Schuhmacher and released as a single via Kontor Records . On August 3rd, a remix of the song was released, in which the German rapper Kay One participated. This version of the song was able to reach the top 20 song charts of the online music service iTunes.

The music video was uploaded on June 14, 2012 from the official YouTube channel of the Kontor Records label . In this one, Patrick Miller can be seen in front of an animated background that shows changing colors and sights of London. A second version of the music video followed on August 3, 2012, in which Kay One can also be seen. As a result of the remix, the single returned to the top 50 of many charts.
