The Catholic parish church of Notre-Dame in Aubigné , a French parish in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was built from the 12th century.

history

The church of the former Benedictine priory was used as a parish church even before the French Revolution , as the old parish church , located near the castle, had become dilapidated.

The last renovations were carried out in 1780 under the prior Julien Piette. The choir was renewed and the nave was shortened by around nine meters during the renovation. The bell tower on the gable roof was renewed in 1833.

Furnishing

From the features are the Gothic font and the holy water , both of which date from the 15th century, worth mentioning.

The wooden high altar from 1662 is dedicated to Our Lady .
