The Nova Scotia Highway 125 (NS 125) is located in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia , it has a length of 28 km. The highway serves as a bypass around Sydney . As a core route, the route is part of the National Highway System . The route was nicknamed Peacekeepers Way in 2008 .

The route begins on Highway 105 , the Trans-Canada Highway , west of Sydney Mines , runs south and serves as a bypass around North Sydney . The route swings eastwards and crosses the river of the same name at Sydney River , and then continues north. The route bypasses Sydney in the east and ends on Highway 4 in the northeast of the city.
