The Nurzec [ ˈnuʒɛt͡s ] is a right tributary of the Bug in Poland . It rises near the border with Belarus near Stawiszcze in the Gmina Czeremcha in the Podlaskie Voivodeship at an altitude of 180 m, flows through Kleszczele , further along the southern edge of the Rownina Bielska via Boćki, Brańsk mainly in a west-north-west direction, then changes its direction to the south-west, flows through Ciechanowiec and forms the border with the Masovian Voivodeship on the last section up to its confluence with the Bug at a height of 105.4 m after a run of 100.2 km . Its catchment area is given as 2102 km².
